Membership is more than a commitment: it is a covenant to hold fast to the command in Hebrews 10:25 by “not forsaking our own assembling together.” As you prayerfully consider pursuing membership at 5 Bridges Church, we’re here to help answer any questions.

If you are considering becoming a member of 5 Bridges Church, please read over the following FAQ’s and review our bylaws and statement of faith.

  • Before becoming a member, we require prospective members to:

    1. Consistently attend two of the three weekly gatherings for at least three months. Attending Small Group Fellowships, Sunday services, and MDWK Wednesday gatherings will give you a better idea of how we function as a church, giving space for you to process our worship services, theology, and general operations.

    2. Fill out a questionnaire that will give us a better idea of how we can serve you.

    3. Attend both of our New Member class sessions. This will allow you to understand our beliefs and how you can get involved as an active church member. These sessions also offer an opportunity to connect with our church leadership.

  • Before joining 5 Bridges, we do require:

    1. Prospective members must have consistently attended two of the three weekly gatherings for at least three months prior to attending the New Members clas.

    2. Prospective members must attend both sessions of our Membership Class.

    3. Pospective members must have participated in believer’s baptism or are willing to participate before joining.

  • Yes! At 5 Bridges, we require all prospective members to have participated in believer’s baptism or are willing participate before joining the church.

  • Should you decide you want to pursue membership with 5 Bridges Church after walking through the process with pastoral guidance and prayer, we will present confirmed members to the church body. At the end of the service, we will announce new members and lead you and the congregation through a responsive reading of the church’s covenant. (Also, be sure to stick around for a quick group photo).
